SUMMARY
What if you knew there was another version of you living happily with an alternative version of a lost loved one? For four years, Ayla thought she finally found happiness with her soulmate Jonas. That was until the unfortunate day when he suddenly disappeared from her life in a tragic car accident. How far is she willing to go to take back what she lost?

This game was created in a month for the Spooktober 2023 Game Jam. This is our first time using Ren'py and creating a visual novel so any feedback would be appreciated!

This was a really amazing game! The art style is so good, the music was always so tense and fitting, and the story was sharply written and a really interesting exploration on loss and grief. Also echoing what the other commenter said about the game sort of having “Coherence” vibes.
The first few reflection jumpscares really got me haha. Awesome job!

the art is so good! i love the staticky textures and sfx, and I especially loved the CGs when Ayla meets her mirror self. the story was terrifying but jonas was so sweet that i forgot about the spooky stuff for a bit. amazing work!
also i coincidentally played this on oct 30 2023 so it was kind of freaky when ayla said what the date was
